Model History and Information: The Cat® CT660 was a Class 8 vocational truck Caterpillar sold from summer 2011 for severe-service applications such as construction, dump and mixer work, built at Navistar's Garland, Texas plant with a choice of Cat CT11 or CT13 engines. Caterpillar exited the on-highway vocational truck business around 2016. This 1:50 scale model fits the CT660 day cab tractor with a McNeilus concrete-mixer body, one of the vocational configurations the truck was marketed for, and renders the mixer drum in metal rather than plastic.
