Model History and Information: The Cat® CB-13 is a 13-metric-ton tandem vibratory roller used for asphalt compaction in road building, with two vibrating drums 2000 mm (79 in) wide that deliver smooth, uniform compaction. A Cat C4.4 engine drives its Versa Vibe vibratory system, which offers multiple amplitude and frequency settings to tune the roller for thin or thick asphalt lifts. Caterpillar also builds the CB-13 with an open ROPS operator station rather than an enclosed cab, the version reproduced on this 1:64 scale collectible from Diecast Masters' Play & Collect range.
