Model History and Information: The Cat 320 is Caterpillar's 20-ton-class hydraulic excavator, and this replica carries 320F L markings. Caterpillar documentation for the 320F L lists a 161 hp Cat C4.4 ACERT engine and an operating weight of 49,200 lb (22,300 kg), and about 8.5% lower fuel consumption than the 320E it replaced. Like other excavators, it is built around a boom, dipper, bucket and cab mounted on a rotating upper structure.
